Breeze Tech are specialists in proximity marketing and we have delivered many successful campaigns for major brands around the world. Our combination of technical and marketing expertise ensures that we understand wireless applications and how to use them as the basis for effective marketing campaigns.  The company has grown rapidly since being founded in 2004, gaining its first customer in 2005 and expanding into Australia in 2006 alongside establishing offices in London.  In 2007 VC funding was acquired and Breeze Tech launched in North America with a cinema network.   Breeze Tech has offices in London, Sydney and Los Angeles.

 

Gregor Isbister - Managing Director

After gaining his BSc in Physics, where a final year project based on streaming music across a room via Laser technology won him special merit, Greg gained solid business experience as a graduate in one of the worlds ‘big four’ life and investment companies.  He founded Breeze Tech in 2004 at the time when Bluetooth was an emerging technology, and won a Prince's Trust award to develop the business. Greg's responsibilities continue to cover solution development, strategic direction and commercial partnerships.

     
 

Adrian Hands - Commercial Director

Adrian has nearly 20 years of sales and management experience in the media & technology sector with businesses such as Haymarket Publishing, Guardian News & Media and VNU.  He joined Breeze Tech from the email marketing technology start up Rocketseed, and manages all commercial activities from advertiser and agency campaigns through to landlord agreements.

     
 

Michael de Kare-Silver - Chairman

Michael is a leading business figure and is heavily involved in new technologies and digital and mobile marketing.

He has been a main board director for a number of leading companies. He has worked on the board at FTSE 100 level with GUS plc, heading up the Argos, Burberry and Experian web businesses. Most recently he has been M.D. at Digitas ModemMedia and AKQA.

Michael’s involvement in the digital scene started in 1996 with the publication of his best-selling book e-shock. e-shock has been translated into 6 languages and has sold more than 100,000 copies around the world. Two more books followed, "Strategy in Crisis" and recently "Streamlining".

     
 

Karen McCormick - Investor Director

Karen’s experience comes from a variety of consulting and corporate positions, specifically in the consumer products and financial services sectors. As a consultant with The Boston Consulting Group and Kurt Salmon Associates, her project work focused on developing growth strategies and hands-on implementation. While Director of Watches for Wenger/Swiss Army, she increased divisional revenues by over 70% and margins by 15% within one year. She has also worked with several start-up and small growth companies, including the co-founding of a luxury products retail and lifestyle website in the Middle East.

Karen has lived and worked in the U.S., Europe, and Asia, and has an MBA from INSEAD and a BSBA from Boston University.

     
 
Kevin McGovern - Finance Director

Kevin is a chartered accountant who has held a number of senior roles in telecoms and technology businesses. His experience is based around both operational finance as well as deal structuring and has been gained both in multinationals such as Cable and Wireless to smaller companies such as Formjet plc.

Claire Gunn
Claire joint founded Breeze Tech Australia in 2005 and has grown the business substantially since then. Claire has extensive marketing experience in both agency and client side. Prior to starting up Breeze Tech Australia, she held senior strategic marketing roles in both Sydney and London and has worked with some of the world’s largest brands.
     
 
Stephen Garner
Stephen joined Breeze Tech in 2006 and has many years experience in the banking sector including Vice President of Credit Derivative Structuring at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein and Fixed Income Syndicate Manager specialising in Emerging Market new issues at BNP Paribas.
     
 

Julia Whittaker
Julia has over 15 years of marketing communications experience in a variety of industries including IT, utilities, financial services and mobile telecommunications. Julia’s experience in specialist, non traditional marketing includes experiential marketing, exhibitions and events.

Rob Fried
Rob Fried is an Academy Award winning motion picture producer and digital media entrepreneur.  He has produced or executive produced over twenty films including Collateral, Rudy, Godzilla, Man of the Year, The Boondock Saints and So I Married an Axe Murderer.  He is the founder and CEO of  SpiritClips.com and the CEO of Ideation Acquisition Corporation.  Previously, he was the founder and CEO of WhatsHotNow.com, the CEO of Savoy Pictures, and the Executive Vice President of Columbia Pictures.
     
 
Richard Shore
Richard Shore has been an attorney and business affairs executive in the media and entertainment industry for the last decade.  After spending 5 years at Sony Pictures Entertainment, Richard joined First Look Studios as the General Counsel.  In the spring of 2007, Richard left First Look to help create IMM, the North American arm of Breeze Tech
